The terrorist threat in China, what does this mean to foreign businesses doing business in China. Could the
situation spark a similar situation that us Brits faced in N.Ireland.
Over the years there has been unrest in the province of Xinjiang with the government sending in the Army in an attempt to create stability.
Xinjing province is populated by the Muslim Uighurs that numbers half of the regions population. An increase in the Han Chinese relocating to the province has led to complaints of cultural and religious repression.
In China there has been attacks in Xinjing, Beijing's Tiananmen Square and a failed attempt on a Chinese airline travelling to Beijing.
Now that the war in Afghanistan has ended there are tonnes of weapons and ammunition up for sales over the border. With this are we going to see an increase in attacks and are these attacks going to happen in
the main industrial and business areas to frighten of foreign businesses.
Hopefully both sides will sit down together and sort out the differences before the situation becomes like Northern Ireland and affects trade.
