In #China, it is predicted that the 2nd/3rd quarters of 2014 will see strong #beer sales with the start of FEFA 2014 World Cup.
The World Cup might be in Brazil, but in China buoyant sales of beer, the must have drink for soccer fans watching the games between June 12th -July 13th.
With the increase in China's middle class and with few pubs in China the market for bottled and canned beers being drunk at home is increasing and is a good market to be looking at, especially for British craft beers with a story can export to China.
Three Danish and German beers have already launched exclusive designs for the World Cup, and are already on the supermarket shelves. An agent commented that that many retailers have stocked up on beer as
sales are expected to grow further when the championship starts.
